March 17 - JUMP MATH PROGRAM

Hi Parents
As you pick up your child's belongings (shoes, school work etc) from school at your designated time, I would like you to make sure to go through their items. I have included some additional work that you could use at home. One item I included (sorry missed Ulla and Shona) that lists the curricular areas in the Jump Math Program that have yet to be covered and were to be covered over the next several months of school. The reason I am giving you this information is because the Jump Math program is actually available to cover 4 different provinces' curricular expectations. All of those curriculums are in the student's Jump Math Book. I want you to know that there are large areas of the Jump Math student workbooks that are NOT required in Alberta. That information is below.
We have not received direction from CBE as to how we are supporting parents at home, but I thought I would be proactive since everyone is taking home the current Jump Math student workbook (1.1) and the next workbook (1.2) and provide you with those pages that DO NOT need to covered and your child DOES NOT need to know going into Grade 2.
A reminder that you still have access to Mathletics.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I may not have an answer for you but will do my best!

THIS IS THE INFORMATION I TUCKED INTO YOUR CHILD'S JUMP MATH WORKBOOK (AS I SAID ABOVE, SORRY I MISSED ULLA AND SHONA'S).
